Yay for fall fashion!

I wear skinny jeans, but I also wear maxi skirts. It depends on the weather and my mood. As long as everything's covered, I'm good. (I'll talk about shorts next summer! I do wear them, just selectively, haha!) I never really liked long sleeve shirts or sweaters, (especially during coat season - I get SO hot!) but I've started to reconcile with them. We're working it out.

Finally the weekend is upon us. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend. My goal for the week ahead is to worship more each day. God deserves daily praise, don't you think?

See, girls? There are normal, good-looking guys who value modesty! Is any more evidence needed? These are just a few examples - there are tons of guys who find virtue to be a desirable trait.

Modesty is a funny thing. Everyone seems to have their own idea of what modesty is, and at some point it really is a personal thing. There really are no "official rules" about what to wear and what not to wear. Let's see what the Word says about our appearance.

Getting Started

The first post on a brand new blog kind of feels like the first page of a blank journal - you have this whole space stretched out ahead of you and only you can fill it. Here goes nothing.

I'm starting 31 Potential with a purpose. A big one. I don't know about you, but I am tired of the media and my peers telling me how I should act or who I should become. I'm sick of seeing images of what this culture thinks is beautiful. I don't want to conform - I want to be transformed.

If that's your desire too, then I'm glad you're here. I would love to hear from ya, you like-minded individual you. On this blog I want to try my best to tackle all the "buzz topics" of living as a Christian young woman. 

Modesty. Relationships. Self-worth. Faith. Prayer. Friends.
